The wife and I were passing through and decided to stop here which was a great decision. Both the homemade food and service were excellent. Matt, the owner, even came over to talk to us and also gave us some free pork rinds. You should eat here.
We waiting at the counter for the order for about 10 minutes (tops) and talked to the nice waitresses.
Pleasant place. Tasty meal on several occasions. They always seem busy.
Stopped here on our way down to Texas and we were starving by dinner time. Went in and placed a to go order for the open-face roast beef sandwich, smothered in gravy. MY LORD. SO delicious!
I dropped by for lunch and was very happy with the Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes and corn. Great service and friendly people. I highly recommend them!
Great small town Cafe to stop at, screw the Subway down the street, come here and get REAL, good food.
stopped in for a quick lunch, I got more then what I would have expected. Great Food, awesome service. very pleasant people. clean building, clean restrooms, and large portions, and endless refills. What's not to love about the Red Rooster?. Your tastebuds will love you for it !!!!
